The Execution Platform

In ancient times, the Three Pure Ones entered the Dao, and immortals from every corner of the world came to pay homage. A little white butterfly spent all day flying along the stream on Turtle Spirit Island, fluttering up and down. Sometimes it passed through the low treetops, and sometimes it rested among the flowers, as if absorbing the essence of the sun and moon from the mortal world.

Though she was an unremarkable little butterfly, she had cultivated on Turtle Spirit Island for over six hundred years. She had once studied under the Holy Mother of Turtle Spirit and become her direct disciple.

But who exactly was the Holy Mother of Turtle Spirit?

She was no ordinary person. Her master was Lord Tongtian, the third disciple of the Patriarch Hongjun.

The Patriarch Hongjun once had several disciples. His eldest disciple was Taishang Laojun. His second disciple was the Heavenly Worthy of Primordial Beginning, founder of the Chan Sect, also known as the Chan Sect's leader and the Heavenly Worthy Patriarch. His third disciple was Lord Tongtian, founder and leader of the Jie Sect.
