I Asked You to Write a Romance, and You Wrote Ghost?

Su Bai opened his eyes and found himself transmigrated to a parallel world, where he was competing in the Youth Scriptwriting Championship.

Contestants had to write based on prompts chosen by the judges.

When the first prompt was romance,

while the other contestants were writing tearjerking yet sweet cross-border romances and melodramatic romantic comedies...

Su Bai remembered the classic Hong Kong film A Chinese Ghost Story from another world and promptly got to work!

At first, people thought it was a silly historical fantasy. But the more they watched, the stranger it seemed, until everyone was blown away!

Yan Chixia: "People in this world aren't people, and ghosts aren't ghosts!"

Ning Caichen: "Xiaoqian's ashes are buried deep in the earth. We'll never meet again."

Nie Xiaoqian: "A vow sworn under the mountains and seas, a love stronger than gold!"

The audience wept: "So the most sincere love in this world is a love that transcends life and death!"

And with that, a masterpiece was born!
