I Went Abroad on a Mission, and You, Hou Liangping, Call Me a Fugitive

Hou Liangping had just been promoted.

He immediately turned the sword in his hand on his old classmate, Yang Ping'an.

Yang Ping'an was only a village Party secretary.

But he had been Zhong Xia'ai's idol back when they were in school.

Hou Liangping had resented him for a long time.

However, when Hou Liangping arrived at Wangshan Village, where Yang Ping'an held office,

he discovered that Yang Ping'an had been missing for many days.

Hou Liangping promptly launched a series of investigations.

"Look at all these antiques in his house. Yang Ping'an must have pocketed a fortune!"

"He sold Wangshan Village's coal resources to a private company for nothing?!"

"This house is like an imperial palace, and the villagers say they raised the money to build it for him of their own accord?!"

"..."

Just as Hou Liangping became convinced

that Yang Ping'an had fled after learning his corruption had been exposed,

Yang Ping'an appeared before him, stars on his shoulders and several armed soldiers at his side.

Yang Ping'an: "I was recalled by the army to carry out a mission abroad, and you, Hou Liangping, say I ran away?"

Hou Liangping: "Brother Yang, this is all a misunderstanding. Get that gun away from my head and let me explain..."
