Genshin Impact: The Gods Retreat as All of Teyvat Cultivates Immortality

Ye Fei transmigrated to Teyvat, and thought he knew the place well. But things were not at all as he expected.

A gigantic broken bronze sword now stretched across Teyvat’s skies, and most of the gods on Celestia had fled to the stars.

The Hilichurls broke free of their curse and, under Lumine’s leadership, established a new Khaenri'ah Empire.

The broken bronze sword filled Teyvat with spiritual energy that could be cultivated. This change ushered in an era of cultivation for everyone in Teyvat.

Raiden Ei: “Who stands at the end of the immortal path? Can becoming an immortal really bring my sister back to life?”

Furina: “I’m no longer a mortal. I never expected to have such a talent for cultivation.”

Nahida: “My fists are pretty powerful now, too. Ye Fei, want to try them out?”

Zhongli: “By the standards of universal rationality, severing one part of myself was the right choice.”

The Tsaritsa: “The Gnosis is no longer of any use to me. What I need now is the path to immortality.”

Lumine: “Tremble before absolute power.”
