Crossroads of an Empire: The Ottomans

In 1898, Abdul Hamid II fell ill and suffered a stroke. After a series of plots and political infighting, Abdul's grandson, Abdul Mustafa, emerged victorious and took the throne. Mustafa was not his original name; he adopted it after becoming emperor. The Ottoman Empire, now the sick man of West Asia, had reached a crossroads of destiny. Would it meet the same fate as it had in history, ultimately disintegrating until nothing remained, or would it turn the tide and survive?
