Journey East in Search of Truth

This book is a companion to Plant Wars: Trees. Drawing on the author's many years of experience exploring the field of agriculture, as well as recent policies and guidance concerning agriculture, rural areas, and farmers, it took three years to complete this work of children's fiction and popular science. In the story, Sun Wukong discovers that Flower-Fruit Mountain has been damaged by acid rain. His investigation leads him to uncover pollution in the atmosphere and oceans, setting in motion a reunion of Tang Sanzang and his disciples. They journey east once more to seek the True Sutra of Wise Agriculture. Through their travels, the book explains scientific pig farming, agricultural high technology, circular agriculture, green agriculture, and metaverse agriculture. It presents the profound and difficult subject of plant physiology through simple, easy-to-understand fables. During the writing process, the author invited many senior agricultural experts to review the book and ensure its accuracy. The author also invited children from places including Deng Naihe of Faku County, Shenyang, Liaoning; Guan Ai of Sanhe City, Hebei; and Yucai School in Yanjiao, Sanhe, to listen and read, ensuring the book would be enjoyable.
