My Farmhouse in the Tang Dynasty

Xu Miaoyan transmigrates to the Tang Dynasty, with a farmstead tucked away in a pocket dimension.

She arrives as the mother of three children, with no idea who their father is. All she can do is open the Tang Dynasty's very first farmstead inn.

Countless young noblewomen become addicted to catching crayfish, countless noble ladies forget their manners and become addicted to sucking their fingers, and countless high-ranking officials discuss how to avoid coming home empty-handed from a fishing trip.

Just as everything gets on track and Xu Miaoyan starts dreaming of becoming the richest person in the Tang Dynasty, the An-Shi Rebellion breaks out.

How can that be allowed? If the Tang Dynasty's golden age takes a sudden turn for the worse, how can she become the richest person? How will her children become trust-fund kids, and her grandchildren trust-fund grandkids?

So Xu Miaoyan silently opens the warehouse. As she murmurs scriptures, she picks up her ritual instrument for sending souls to the afterlife.

If Old An doesn't go to hell, who will?

If Old Shi doesn't enter the cycle of reincarnation, then the Way of Heaven is unjust!

For the sake of our descendants, Old An, I'm sorry, but I'll have to send you on your way.

And so, outside Chang'an, a figure in robes white as snow appears: Namo Amitabha, the great and compassionate savior of the suffering, Xu Miaoyan, the Bodhisattva Guanyin, comes to rescue the war-torn world from its suffering...
