Where Am I Taking Xu Fu on This Journey East?

An exclusive signed novel on Feilu Novel Network: Where Am I, Xu Fu, Sailing East?

219 BC, Spring, Day 1, Zi hour, at the bow of a ship at sea

Tonight, the moon shines as bright as day, and a sea breeze brushes past. I, Xu Fu, stand at the bow, gazing at the vast ocean before me. My heart is filled with both excitement and unease. Emperor Qin Shi Huang's command is absolute. Leading three thousand boys and girls, I carry the hopes of the Great Qin as I embark on this unknown voyage east. Where will this journey take us? Curious about the unknown and awed by the mission entrusted to me, I begin this Feilu adventure.

The sea breeze, heavy with salt, stirs my robes, and the sails crackle in the night sky. I gaze into the distance and imagine that mysterious land. Does it have customs unlike our own? Does it hold civilizations and wisdom of which we know nothing? My heart yearns for the unknown, yet thoughts of home fill me with longing and reluctance to leave.

I turn to look at the sailors and the boys and girls behind me. Some are nervous, others curious, but above all, they look forward to what lies ahead.
