Reborn as a Puppet Soldier? Just Wait and See How Well I Can Act

Ye Chen, an unknown actor, transmigrates into a world at war with Japan. He was hoping to make a name for himself, but discovers he's become a puppet-army company commander instead!

Just then, Ye Chen awakens the Ultimate Acting System.

Life is a play, after all. As long as he acts convincingly enough, he can earn plenty of weapons, ammunition, medicine, and other resources.

So Ye Chen decides to become an actor and play the part of a puppet-army officer. And then...

When his unit faces an uninhabited zone, Ye Chen says:

"Sir, the enemy was too strong this time. The boys fought for three days and nights and barely managed to win!"

When given an order by his superiors to storm an enemy position, Ye Chen says:

"Sir, we'll fight the enemy bravely without hesitation. If we don't win this battle, you can take my head!"

When facing the real resistance forces, Ye Chen says:

"Reporting, sir! The enemy was too crafty. They slipped right through my fingers!"

A loyal officer on the surface, he secretly builds up his own forces.

Years later, Ye Chen's acting is so convincing that he has become a model officer in the puppet army.

But behind the scenes, a phantom, a terrifying phantom, haunts the Japanese and the Western powers.
