Espionage: I'm in Chasing the Wind, and I'm Really a Mole

Qin Ming transmigrates into the world of The Pursuit of Truth, but ends up on the wrong side: he's become a notorious traitor, a compradore bank president working for the Japanese! Looking at all those gleaming Japanese silver dollars, he makes up his mind: If the Japanese are giving away money, why not spend it? And so he sets out on an unconventional path to save the nation.

He builds an arms factory and turns Shen Jinzhen into a top weapons expert! He invests in Dai Li and joins the Military Statistics Bureau's "Ten-Man Group"! Zheng Yaoxian, Ming Lou? He brings them all under his command! He becomes the true uncrowned king of Shanghai! He manipulates the financial markets, funds the Soviet Area, and takes control of global finance!

"Mr. Qin, the time has come to serve the Great Japanese Empire!"

When the Japanese launch their all-out offensive, they discover that Qin Ming, whom they had always considered a trusted confidant, has dealt them a devastating blow. Japan's economy collapses, riddled with holes, and the yen becomes worthless. Rooftops are crowded with people... The army can't even afford underwear, while the navy can't put together a single sampan...

When Qin Ming stands in the dock at the International Military Tribunal for the Far East, Dongjo Hideki and Hirohito glare at him as if they want to eat him alive. He calmly replies:

"Why are you looking at me? I told you I was a mole, but you didn't believe me!"
