The Cliff-Jumping County Magistrate

Jin Lu, deputy county magistrate of Hela County, was surveying a road construction project at a sinkhole with subordinates from the Transportation Bureau when they ran into trouble and had no way back. With no other choice, they leaped off the cliff and plunged down, earning Jin the nickname "the cliff-jumping magistrate." It was Jin's fearless, daring spirit that led him to discover the sinkhole, a pristine paradise that preserved the primitive way of life of slash-and-burn farming, creating the conditions for establishing a new scenic attraction.

But when the media publicized the discovery of the sinkhole, senior officials moved to protect it, and the provincial Party secretary issued an explicit order: No development! See how this daring young official, willing to leap off a cliff, uses his wisdom to overcome obstacles and forge a brilliant future for his career.
