Great Ming: Sky Screen Showdown, Zhu Zhanji Is Furious

In the first year of the Hongxi reign, Zhu Zhanji ascended the throne. A sky screen showing parallel worlds descended, revealing two entirely different lives of Zhu Zhanji.

Zhu Zhanji watched the Zhu Zhanji on the sky screen to his left. After executing his uncle Zhu Gaoxu, he spent his days obsessed with cricket fighting and died young.

The crown prince he appointed was an incompetent fool. After taking the throne, he proudly earned the title of a "Tumu Fortress exchange student," sacrificing 200,000 elite Ming troops.

He executed the celebrated minister Yu Qian and caused the death of his virtuous, capable younger brother.

Glancing at Sun Ruowei, pregnant at his side, Zhu Zhanji began to wonder whether he could communicate with the sky screen and get it to give him a different son.

Zhu Gaoxu watched his own failed rebellion on the sky screen to the left. His nephew imprisoned him in a bronze vat and roasted him alive, while every member of his family, young and old, met a grim end.

Then he looked at the nephew on the sky screen to the right, who respectfully called him the Imperial Uncle of Ao, and, after Zhu Gaoxu died a peaceful death, personally honored him as the "Founding Emperor of Ao."

A thought arose in his mind as well: rebellion had no future. Should he go out and found his own dynasty instead?

Yu Qian, the Three Yangs, Prince Ning, and the others watched themselves put their talents to use, enjoy good endings, and build glorious legacies of their own.
