Parasite

Every step we take forward brings us one step closer to death.

In the real world, parasites are lower eukaryotic disease-causing organisms that can act as pathogens and spread illness through vectors. They can live inside or on the outside of a Host, drawing the nutrients they need to survive, develop, or reproduce, while also receiving protection.

Parasites can even alter their Host's behavior and infest the brain to better ensure their own survival and reproduction.
