Bocchi the Rock!: Rain Addiction and a Shy Girl

Single female lead + school life

"It's raining."

The boy said it expressionlessly. Every rainy season, he would make the same remark.

The rain soaked his long-neglected black hair. He stood there quietly, feeling the water flow over him, as if it could make him forget the wound on his left hand and the coffee shop owner's scolding just moments ago.

Only then could the raindrops stitch up his heart, riddled with wounds, and calm him down.

He had been standing there for nearly twenty minutes when Kirihara Kiu noticed a pink-haired girl about his age timidly approaching him with an umbrella.

"Y-y-y-y-y-y-you..."

She seemed so nervous that she couldn't get a single sentence out. Her whole body trembled, as if she were facing a monster.

Maybe I really am a monster.

Kiu smiled bitterly. To his surprise, the girl thrust the umbrella into his arms, then turned and ran off.

He had thought he would never be able to repay her "kindness with the umbrella," but then he discovered they went to the same high school.

Her name was... Goto Hitori, wasn't it?
