Great Tang: Comparing Sons Makes Li Shimin Green with Envy!

In the first year of Zhenguan, Li Shimin takes the throne, and a sky screen comparing parallel worlds appears, showing two utterly different lives of Li Chengqian.

Li Shimin looks at the sky screen and sees Tang Wudi Li Chengqian, whose achievements surpass those of Qin Shi Huang and Emperor Wu of Han, who is praised by the people and hailed as the greatest emperor of all time.

Then he glances at the Li Chengqian beside him, who likes men and is killed after rebelling, and starts wondering if he can get a different son.

Hou Junji looks at the sky screen on the left. There, he joins the Crown Prince Li Chengqian in rebellion, only to be killed while his entire family is exiled.

Then he looks at the sky screen on the right, where Wudi Li Chengqian honors him as the Divine Martial Grand General. After Hou Junji dies peacefully, he is even posthumously named Prince of Ruyang and enshrined in the Imperial Ancestral Temple.

The same thought comes to mind: could he go serve Wudi Li Chengqian instead?

Su Dingfang, Li Jing, Xue Rengui, and the others look at Wudi Li Chengqian, who gives them the chance to put their talents to use and ensures they come to good ends.

They all have the same thought: they want to follow an emperor like Wudi!

Only Crown Prince Li Chengqian and Li Zhi are left doubting themselves: Am I really that bad?
