I Picked Liu Bang from the Start, and No One Knows History Better Than Me

Liu Ying transmigrated to a world where history had vanished and became one of five contestants in a National Destiny game.

Contestant One: "I choose the great general Lan Yu!"

Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant! Lan Yu is the crown prince's uncle by marriage. This one's in the bag!

Contestant Two: "I choose Crown Prince Li Jiancheng!"

Incredible! Li Jiancheng is not only the crown prince, he also has a battle-hardened younger brother to back him up. How could I possibly lose?

Contestant Three: "I choose Emperor Huizong of Song, Zhao Ji!"

666! The others chose a crown prince, but you went straight for the emperor!

Contestant Four: "I choose Empress Dowager Cixi!"

Holy crap! That's taking it way too far! What good is an emperor? I'll pick his mother! Even the emperor has to do what I say!

Watching the other four make their outrageous picks, Liu Ying quietly chose Liu Bang after the Battle of Pengcheng.

Everyone was dumbfounded.

You didn't pick Xiang Yu, who was a god of war incarnate!

You didn't pick Han Xin, the immortal of war!

You didn't even pick Zhao Tuo, who ruled the southern lands!

You picked a penniless commander who'd lost both his father and his wife?

Faced with everyone's ridicule, Liu Ying declared:

No one understands history better than me!
