Tearing Down My Demon-Suppressing Temple? I Won't Stop the Demons from Returning

Amid the boom in development at the Wangwu Mountain scenic area, an old-fashioned Taoist temple stood alone, refusing to yield to demolition. The decision quickly sparked an outcry online. People accused modern Taoists of becoming greedy and calculating, claiming they were stubbornly holding out for a higher demolition payout.

Yet beneath the storm of public condemnation, no one knew the shocking secret hidden beneath the temple. Deep in its foundations lay countless demons, evil spirits, and vengeful ghosts, sealed away. For thousands of years, generations of Taoists from the Zhenyao Temple lineage had sacrificed countless lives to preserve peace in the world.

As the authorities tightened the pressure, developers pushed ahead with their forceful demolition, and the entire internet denounced him, Chu He gazed at the temple about to be torn down, overcome by indescribable rage and sorrow.

“You tear down my Zhenyao Temple and still expect me to save you? Dream on!” He knew that once the temple was destroyed, the sealed demons would run rampant in the human world and bring endless disaster.
