Director Competition: The Journey to the West? God of War Is Here

After accidentally transmigrating to a parallel world, Gu Fan becomes a recent graduate with a degree in directing.

He also discovers that this world has none of the games that were hugely popular in his previous life, such as World of Warcraft, League of Legends, PUBG, Genshin Impact, or Honkai: Star Rail.

Their CGs are missing, too.

Yet this world's animation production technology is extremely advanced.

Perhaps because the technology has been overused,

the storytelling and plots of animated films are incredibly hollow.

They're made exclusively for children,

and are completely unsuitable for adults.

As it happens, the largest directors' competition in history is about to begin.

Gu Fan resolutely invests all his funds into producing animated short films.

A story about Journey to the West?

God of War begins!

A story about madmen?

The Battle of Two Cities begins!

A story about war and heroes?

Ionia stands eternal!
