Genshin Impact: The Continent of Teyvat Before the Traveler Arrived

It uses the worldbuilding of Genshin Impact, but the story is set in an alternate continuity.

A long, substantial fanfiction focused on plot, with plenty to keep you satisfied.

This is the dark side of Teyvat. If you can accept a Teyvat where the gods love all people, I hope you can also accept one filled with killing, lies, and deception.

"Damn it, this is clearly a world where someone without the protagonist's aura has to fight with everything they've got just to survive!"

I've always believed that a character's arc is measured not by the make-believe of holiday celebrations, but by the choices they make when faced with major events.

"Big Brother Kazuha, have you ever met a real protagonist?"

"Of course. In a world where the Traveler never came, I was the protagonist of my own story, too."

This novel and its characters are entirely fictional. Any resemblance to actual people or events is purely coincidental. Please do not imitate.
