Great Yu: As the Land Crumbles, I Turn the Tide

The bloodshed of the kings' rebellion stains the mottled palace walls red;

The pounding hooves of foreign tribes circle above the capital;

Officials across the land continue to sing and dance as they bluster;

Beneath the thatched roofs, the common people silently prepare for one last struggle;

On his sickbed, the ailing emperor makes one final, frail decision;

A young man slowly emerges from the depths of the palace and appears upon the throne.
