Hong Kong Island: A Confucian Merchant Family, Starting with Plundering Japan

Reborn in 1985, Chang Sheng faces a power struggle among the group's senior executives.

The first thing he does is offer his father a plan.

Don't fight or vie for power. Just watch while the snipe and the clam battle.

Let the board see who gets things done and who is only after power.

Chang Sheng brings a fortune to invest in mainland China, becoming the first to take the plunge.

In 1985, the Plaza Accord is signed. The US dollar falls, and the Japanese yen rises.

In 1990, Japan's asset bubble collapses.

He makes huge investments using China's policies while also stirring up a storm in the international financial markets.

"Of Jinshang's ten treasures, three belong to the Chang family."

At home, Chang Sheng puts the Confucian merchant ethos into practice, making everyone prosperous together.

Abroad, the Confucian merchant ethos? What a load of crap!

Plunder is the only way to win.

The Mitsui family: Being enemies with Chang Sheng is the biggest mistake of my life!

JPMorgan Chase: Even if World War III breaks out tomorrow, if Chang Sheng says the exchange rate will rise, then it will rise.

The US Federal Reserve: For every greenback I print, I owe Chang Sheng eight yuan and eighty cents!
