Putting Historical Sinners on Trial, the Emperors Are Stunned!

Meng Yang obtains a Judgment Space, where he invites emperors of the ages to serve as judges. He draws historical figures for trial, while broadcasting the proceedings live across the myriad dynasties.

The possible sentences are ten years in prison, a hundred years in prison, hanging, dismemberment by chariots, death by a thousand cuts, being turned into a human pig, or acquittal.

The first historical figures put on trial are the father and son, Emperor Huizong and Emperor Qinzong of the Song dynasty.

"What crimes has the Zhao imperial clan committed?"

Zhao Kuangyin furrows his brow.

"The two emperors, Huizong and Qinzong, groveled before their enemies, surrendered sovereignty and humiliated the nation. During the Jingkang Incident, they were forced to perform the sheep-leading ritual and survived in disgrace. Their crimes are heinous."

"Verdict: death by a thousand cuts, three thousand three hundred and eighteen strokes."

The second historical figure on trial is An Lushan.

"What's the matter with An Lushan?"

Li Longji asks, puzzled.

"An Lushan was a wolf in human skin, harboring evil ambitions."

"The eight-year An Lushan Rebellion turned the prosperous Tang dynasty into a living hell. Rivers of blood flowed and corpses covered the land. Thirty-six million people of Huaxia perished. It was an unprecedented catastrophe for the Chinese people, and his crimes are too numerous to record."

As Meng Yang announces An Lushan's crimes and sentence, both Li Shimin and Li Longji are furious!

"Verdict for An Lushan: turn him into a human pig and throw him into a pigsty."
