Solving Crimes with Magic, and You Call Him a Cop?

When I grow up, I want to be a police officer and solve cases with magic.

What was once a childhood joke comes true on the day Chen Yu graduates from police academy.

On his first day on the job, he catches a thief stealing a wallet.

The thief even gives Chen Yu a menacing glare.

How could he put up with that? There was no way!

He immediately forms a hand seal and chants a spell!

"Fire attack, burn him to ashes!"

On the second day, a slippery old crook arrives at the station and refuses to confess, no matter what.

Chen Yu is sick and tired of dealing with him.

Still not talking?

"Earth attack, landslide!"

On the third day, the city bureau receives a tip that a gang of drug dealers is making a secret deal.

When everyone reaches the scene, they discover it's an ambush, and the informant is already dead.

Faced with this desperate situation, Chen Yu stops pretending.

Time to show his hand!

Heavenly Dragon's Roar!

Wrath of the Divine Sea!

Golden Light...

As one spell after another pours forth, the sky changes color and thunder and wind rage all around.

A divine dragon appears and vanishes among the clouds!

In that moment, criminals and colleagues alike are left dumbfounded!

Chief, times have changed. Solving cases with magic is all the rage now!
