Wuxia Crossover: Mad Monk? The Sword Qi Great Wall's Buddhist Magic Slays Demons

One day, a crazed, rambling monk arrived at the ruined temple beneath Luopo Mountain.

Unlike ordinary monks, he liked drinking wine and eating meat.

He was always saying, "Wine and meat pass through the gut, but the Buddha remains in the heart."

Everyone assumed he was a dissolute monk who had been cast out of the Buddhist order for failing to keep his faith.

But he only smiled and said,

"The Buddha is in the heart. It all depends on what you do. If there is a Buddha in my heart, then I am the Buddha!"

Everyone just laughed at his madness.

After all, what proper monk would eat meat and drink wine by the mouthful?

But then came that day.

Above the Sword Qi Great Wall, savage demons from the wilderness slaughtered the human cultivators.

Countless human elders gave their lives.

And right at that moment,

a Buddhist chant suddenly rang out with the force of thunder, piercing through both worlds.

Then a somewhat carefree voice was heard:

"Don't you know that this Vast World is under this monk's protection?"
