I Won't Be a Saint

After a modern man dies, he meets his grandfather. Their souls are taken to the Immortal Realm by its inhabitants and absorbed by a fetus. They retain a little of Earth's sealed memories, grow up together as scions of a prominent family, study and cultivate immortality, and gradually mature and adjust to their new lives. Along the way, they defeat countless experts and eventually become universal gods. They travel to the Pillars of Creation and, after further study, defeat the local monopoly that controls new stars, an evil force that treats newborn planets like eggs and cares nothing for the fate of other galaxies. This is the story of how they restore order to the universe.
