Xuanhuan: From the Start, I'm a Blind Man Who Tells Fortunes on the Street

In Taiping Town lived a blind boy named Su Ping'an. By day, he set up a fortune-telling stall on the street. He never charged for his readings, accepting only the meat buns from Widow Zhang's place nearby. The buns had thin skins and generous fillings, and were so big you had to hold them in both hands to eat.

Some people in Taiping Town took pity on him. Those with firewood at home would ask him to come chop it in the evening, paying him one copper coin each time, no matter how much there was.

One day, the notorious womanizing swordsman of Taiping Town was killed, his head chopped off with a single stroke.

From then on, a tale about the Headless Blade spread through Taiping Town.

Some said he loved to cut off people's heads, and anyone who crossed his path would lose theirs.

Others said he wielded a sword, not a blade, because no swordsman in Taiping Town could have taken the womanizer's head with a single stroke.

And after that, Taiping Town was anything but peaceful...
