I Asked You to Write a Mystery, So Why Did You Write Death Note?

Su Mo transmigrates to the live writing venue of a major literary contest in deduction and mind games, sponsored by Seagate Technology.

Contestants must write a story based on a prompt drawn by the organizers.

The keywords for the first theme are: deduction and mind games.

The moment he sees the theme,

Su Mo thinks of those words Kira once said: "L, do you know? Shinigami only eat apples."

And so,

he immediately writes Death Note!

A unique premise about a Shinigami and a notebook used to kill!

A battle of wits between the protagonist and the antagonist.

A gripping plot full of deduction and mind games.

In an instant, Su Mo becomes the dark horse of the entire competition!

When Su Mo writes the scene where Light Yagami picks up the notebook again, the audience and judges are all sent into a frenzy!

Then comes the fantasy theme,

and Su Mo writes The King's Avatar: Nine Songs.

The snow-white Marquis of the Blood Robe, the jade-green Emerald Tiger, the blue-sea Siren, the moonlit Wanderer in a Rain Cape!

The audience is stunned!
