You Were Supposed to Catch Thieves, So Why Are You Arresting a Drug Lord?

In a parallel world, crime is rampant.

Yang Shuo transmigrates into this world and becomes a trainee special police officer.

Faced with public doubts over the Special Police Bureau's exorbitant annual budget, the bureau prepares a live-streamed show to help people understand its work. Newly appointed Yang Shuo is chosen to take part.

Everything is supposed to follow a script, but when the show goes live, things take an unexpected turn.

"Holy crap, weren't we supposed to be catching a thief? How did it turn into taking down a major drug lord?"

"Isn't that the entrepreneur ranked third on our country's rich list? I can't believe he's a psychopathic serial killer!"

"Who could have guessed that such a gorgeous young woman was Kaitou Kid?"

"No way! The Bomber really exists?"

As the show airs, Yang Shuo brings one notorious criminal after another to justice, becoming a world-famous nemesis of crime!

Uncle Sam: "We're willing to pay top dollar to hire Yang Shuo to work in Gotham for a few years!"

Yang Shuo: "Thanks for the offer, but no."
