A Pay-to-Win Horror Game Gets Me Mocked Online as a Spendthrift

A bizarre game invades reality. In an instant, civilization is overturned and the world is shrouded in horrors.

Su Yun, who has reached the half-step Vajra realm, returns to ten days before the invasion begins.

"This game's going under. Selling Door-Knocking Ghosts, music boxes, red candles... 50,000 for one, DM me."

Everyone thinks the game is about to shut down and run off with their money. But only Su Yun knows it's about to invade reality.

So Su Yun ties up his parents and spends every last penny, dropping two billion on the game and buying, buying, buying!

While everyone else has one ghost pet, Su Yun buys an entire street full of them!

While everyone else has a set of silver-grade gear, Su Yun buys a full set of mythic gear.

While everyone else upgrades their weapons to level 40, Su Yun upgrades his to 9,999!

"I heard some idiot blew his entire fortune on a two-billion top-up. Hilarious! If I had a son like that, I'd have strangled him at birth!"

"He went from the city's richest to its poorest in a single day. What a damn genius!"

As the whole internet mocks him, Su Yun gazes at the blood moon in the sky and declares passionately, "The invasion has begun. My great era is here!"
