The Death of Curacao

This is a fanfiction based on the Chinese mobile warship game Azur Lane.

Curacao thinks of herself as an unremarkable ship. After being anthropomorphized and entering the magical port, she lives harmoniously with her many sisters and becomes one of the commander's harem members.

But the ending of the story was decided long ago.

Many years later, Curacao sits on the port's railing with Ray for the last time. Ray wears a rare smile as she gazes at the pitch-black sky, then suddenly asks:

"Was meeting him really a stroke of luck?"

Curacao stares at Ray's fingers, lost in thought. A diamond ring glitters there.

"I don't know."
