Hong Kong Films: The Rise of a Crime Boss Begins with Taking Control of Hong Kong Island

Ye Bin transmigrates to the Hong Kong underworld of the 1980s and becomes a low-ranking member of the Hong Tai gang.

Hong Kong is descending into chaos and disorder. He seizes his chance and rises to power amid the turmoil and darkness.

He sells counterfeit goods, starts a newspaper, makes movies, acquires a TV station, and builds a media empire.

He establishes a mercenary group, acquires power and utility companies, interferes in the oil trade, throws his weight around in finance, and becomes one of three dominant forces in real estate.

Entertainment mogul, newspaper tycoon, rising star in finance, richest man in Hong Kong: these are just some of his titles.

At first, people call him Blade Bin. Later, they call him Brother Bin. Then more and more people call him Young Master Bin. In the end, everyone calls him Mr. Ye.

Ye Bin, a legendary figure who clawed his way up from the bottom of Hong Kong, rises from underworld emperor of Hong Kong to ruler of Southeast Asia, and ultimately becomes the mastermind pulling the strings across the world.
