He's got a bad character, can't bring himself to kill decisively, is consumed by greed, and has a dark heart.
Chen Sheng gets so worked up while gaming that he transmigrates to a world very much like Blue Star, bringing the Blacklight System with him.
The good news: he has the Blacklight System, his golden finger, and is practically impossible to kill.
The bad news: this world has wars decided by national fate.
Why is that bad? Because sometimes his System missions conflict with the national-fate missions.
Tomb Raider world
System Mission 1: Devour 0/5 special lifeforms in this world.
System Mission 2: Devour 0/5 major characters.
National-Fate Mission: Find a major character in the current world and help him fulfill his mission.
Pirate world
System Mission: Devour an admiral.
National-Fate Mission: Become a Marine.
While everyone else struggles to survive in different worlds, Chen Sheng gets stabbed in the back by his own System bro, outwits his own side, and recklessly tests the limits of the rules.
