You Were Supposed to Be a Forensic Pathologist, So Why Did You Become a Mage?

"I told you to perform an autopsy, but you started exorcising the corpse right there at the scene!!!"

A Taoist priest switching careers to become a forensic pathologist is at least somewhat related to his old line of work, right?

Captain An: "Did you walk onto the wrong set? You're a forensic pathologist, not a sorcerer!"

The Taoist priest Wang Ye accidentally transmigrates into the body of a college student who graduated with a degree in forensic medicine.

How is he supposed to know how to perform an autopsy???

While everyone else performs autopsies at the scene, he performs rituals! He holds a horsetail whisk, lights candles, scatters beans, and chants incantations!

The next second, the dead man suddenly sits bolt upright, though barely clinging to life.

"Tell me, how did you die? Who killed you?"

Onlookers: "Well, I'll be! He's not a forensic pathologist, he's a sorcerer!"

"The corpse can actually talk! That's incredible!"

"Master Wang, can you come to my house and catch a ghost?"

A hardcore forensic pathologist performs rituals live. What if the dead could speak?
