You Asked Me to Explain Survival Skills, Did You Really Have to Bring on a Disaster?

Shen Bin, a science-program host, unexpectedly obtained a Science Education System.

From the start, he introduced the principle of prioritizing rescue on his program.

"If an earthquake happens and you're trapped under the rubble awaiting rescue, do you know what the principle of prioritized rescue is?"

"Prioritize women? Children? The elderly? The injured?"

"No, all wrong!"

"Rescuers will first save those who are easiest to reach, then able-bodied young people, followed by the lightly injured. The seriously injured and those trapped deep under the rubble come last."

The audience's worldview was shattered!

"No way!"

"That's completely against common sense!"

Shen Bin explained it to them.

The audience reacted in different ways.

It did seem to make some sense.

When disaster strikes, rescue accounts for thirty percent, while self-rescue accounts for seventy percent.

Learning how to escape disasters in advance can be the key to life and death when disaster strikes.

The next day, an earthquake hit, and many viewers who had watched the program escaped by rescuing themselves.

A viewer asked, "You taught us how to escape an earthquake yesterday. Did you know one would happen today?"

Subway derailments, sudden cold waves, typhoons, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions…
