As someone who has been there, northern Myanmar is really not a good place. It is a hell on earth. There are four major families who treat you as human beings, and the regular Myanmar army does nothing. There are countless, hell-like parks on earth, with too many inhumane businesses and too many unbelievable punishments. Do not go to northern Myanmar. This novel and its characters are purely fictitious. Any similarity is purely coincidental and should not be imitated.
