You're a State Banquet Chef, So How Did You Shock the Entertainment Industry?

After being fired from the state banquet, Xu Kai and his apprentice Xu San open a fast-food shop outside Hengdian. He had planned to live a quiet life and eventually settle down running the shop,

but he never expected to end up surrounded by a crowd of foodies.

"Chef Xu, from now on, we'll buy out all the fast food you make!"

More than a hundred extras who play bit parts in Hengdian crowd around Xu Kai.

"Chef Xu, you're the savior of our culinary desert! Would you have time for an interview?"

A TV station's 36E reporter is practically pressed against Xu Kai.

"Xu Kai, be my personal chef from now on. I heard there's a famous dish called human sushi..."

Feidi hooks her arm around Xu Kai's and pleads with him.

"Feidi, how can you be so selfish? My child is still growing and needs an excellent nutritionist like Xu Kai even more."

Teacher Yang and Feidi tug Xu Kai back and forth.

…

A year later, the former state banquet chef sees Xu Kai holding the Golden Eagle Award and asks, "Weren't you a state banquet chef? How come..."

The entertainment industry is stunned!
