Great Ming: I, Zhu Yunwen, Will Never Take the Throne!

He transmigrates to the Ming Dynasty and becomes Zhu Yunwen, son of Zhu Biao.

With Zhu Biao dead and his own succession to the throne imminent,

Zhu Yunwen knows he is neither fit to be emperor nor capable of beating the Yongle Emperor. He immediately decides to turn down the title of Crown Prince and become a carefree prince instead. At least that way, he can enjoy a happy life.

And so Zhu Yunwen starts stirring up trouble.

Do you want to be emperor?

Don't ask. The answer is that I'm not interested in the slightest!

What? Old Zhu publicly announced that I have to attend the morning court and take part in government affairs?

Sorry, I'm sick. I can't make it!

What the heck? You want me to review the ministers' memorials first, then hand them over to Old Zhu?

Fourth Uncle, your nephew is still young. You have to help me! ..

With the Mandate of Heaven soon to be decided and the future of the Ming Dynasty weighing on him, Zhu Yuanzhang finally asks his ministers for advice.

The ministers: "Prince Yunwen is benevolent and righteous, and dearly loved by the people. We beg Your Majesty to appoint Prince Yunwen!"

Zhu Di: "Father, rest assured. Yunwen has treated me with great sincerity. I will treat him like an elder brother and defend our Ming borders for his sake! I ask you to appoint Yunwen!"

Zhu Yunwen: "??? I've turned it down three times already. Why are you still pushing it on me??"
