You Asked Me to Be a Fisherman, but I Hauled Up a Nuclear Submarine

Gu Shen transmigrates to a parallel world and discovers that he's taking part in a workplace reality-streaming show. By random draw, he gets assigned the job of a fisherman.

Viewers: "Streamer, you've got a bite! A big black fish?"

Gu Shen: "How about the latest torpedo from the United States, the MK90?"

Viewers: "The sonar's made of copper? No use trying to salvage it?"

Gu Shen: "This thing's worth 500,000. No way I'm leaving it behind!"

Viewers: "Is that a spy ship at work?"

Gu Shen: "I'll just follow right behind it. If it dares to drop anything, I'll dare to fish it out!"

Viewers in the livestream: "I get it now. This streamer can haul up anything except fish!"

Captain Murakami Yoshiro of the Japanese destroyer Yoshino:

"This is a warship. A little Chinese fishing boat is no threat at all... Wait... What the hell, you're actually ramming us!"

Captain Max of a United States Ohio-class nuclear submarine:

"When we chose to make an emergency surfacing, we'd already prepared to surrender. But we never imagined we'd be captured by a fishing boat!"
