1. Once a work exceeds 6,000 words, it can gain exposure on the Updates Ranking. The more words it has, the longer it stays on the ranking. Most new books can gain exposure. We recommend publishing at least 8,000 words at launch. Once the work is successfully published, we recommend posting an additional chapter to meet the maximum exposure requirements for a new book.

2. Signing a contract for your work will further increase its exposure time. We recommend signing as soon as your work meets the requirements!

3. If your work is unsigned and exceeds 150,000 words, its exposure will be reduced accordingly.

4. New books receive an exposure boost when they go on sale!

5. Works without a cover receive a small exposure penalty. An unattractive presentation affects the user experience, so we strongly recommend uploading a cover as soon as you start your book.

6. Ghostwritten works receive an exposure penalty. Low-quality ghostwriting seriously affects the reader experience!
