Director: Your Beiying Graduation Film Is About Indian Snake Oil?

Faced with the graduation project topic the showrunners and the academy had agreed on, medicine, Xu Ming turns around and presents Dying to Survive!

Xu Ming wakes up one day to find himself taking part in a show where contestants create their graduation projects live.

As a directing student at the Beijing Film Academy, his graduation project is, astonishingly, to make a short video!

After the short video is released, his life takes off beyond all control.

Wolf Warrior, The Battle at Lake Changjin, No More Bets, Infernal Affairs, The Knockout, The Thunder, In the Name of the People, and countless other classic films and TV series are brought to life by Xu Ming.

Years later, when a reporter interviews him, Xu Ming says slowly:

"Honestly, at first I was just afraid I wouldn't get my diploma. Who knew I'd end up exhausted from making movies every day? If I'd known, I would've chosen tourism. I could travel, and there'd be no cutthroat competition. As for directing, it's really not for me. It's way too tiring..."
