You Make a Crime Film, and the Police Give You a First-Class Merit Award?

Lin Fan, a police officer, transmigrates to a parallel world and becomes a film directing student.

As it happens, his teacher assigns the class to make a short film.

While the other students are busy filming campus romances and stories of brotherhood...

Lin Fan, armed with extensive knowledge of criminal cases from his previous life, decides to take a different approach and make short films based on real crimes.

He never expects this style of short film to become an instant hit.

The case of the deranged cannibal, the bank vault robbery, the border flour-smuggling operation...

As Lin Fan keeps filming one story after another...

He never expects the police to use his videos as clues to solve one cold case after another.

One day, a group of police officers suddenly show up at the school.

"Student Lin Fan, since you've provided valuable leads that helped solve multiple major cases, the organization has decided to award you a First-Class Merit!"
