Sishui Inn

By the river outside Sishui City stands an inn called the Sishui Inn. It has stood here for a thousand years.

The owner of the Sishui Inn is named A Si. She has run an inn on the banks of the Sishui River for a thousand years. No one knows where A Si came from, but in all that time, she has never shown any sign of aging.

The Sishui Inn has only one waiter, named Shiji. A Si found him at the inn's door 300 years after opening the place. When she found him, he was covered in blood and on the verge of death. A Si found someone to save him, and when he woke up, he couldn't even remember his own name. So A Si named him Shiji.

Shiji is an odd one too. Like A Si, he hasn't grown in hundreds of years and remains forever around twelve or thirteen. Since he's cute and handsome, the inn's customers call him Little Shiji.

Besides the owner and the waiter, the regulars who come and go at the inn are all oddballs too.

They claim to be important figures, but Shiji doesn't believe them. Every time they come for a drink, they refuse to pay, which makes Shiji grit his teeth in anger.

"One day, I'll make you pay back every last bit you owe."
