Buddhism: I Am the World-Honored One, and I Subdue the Tathagata!

Tang Shan transmigrates into Journey to the West and, to his surprise, becomes Tang Sanzang. He thinks that if he simply follows the usual route west, he can reach Spirit Mountain, attain Buddhahood, and become the Buddha of Sandalwood Merit.

But who could have guessed that this is actually the world of Wukong!

Fortunately, he has the Supreme World-Honored One System, which lets him transmigrate through the Myriad Worlds, take on countless forms, and cultivate the Way of Seven Emotions and Six Desires.

The Queen of the Women's Kingdom: "Holy Monk, I don't believe your eyes are truly empty!"

Tang Shan: "Is there truly a way to have it both ways, to honor the World-Honored One without forsaking you?"

Green Snake: "Fahai, why did you capture us sisters?"

Tang Shan: "Demon, I want you to help me cultivate. If you can shake my resolve, I'll let you go!"

"..."

On the journey west, he witnesses the good and evil in people's hearts, demons running wild, and the ugliness of immortals and Buddhas.

"How dare you, Tang Sanzang! Now that you stand before the Tathagata, why don't you bow?"

"Why should I bow?"

"The World-Honored One is supreme. Above and below heaven, he alone is worthy of reverence. Who would not bow!"

At these words, Tang Shan steps forward and looks at the Buddhas of Spirit Mountain, seated high above. He presses his palms together:

"In that case, this humble monk, unworthy though I am, shall become the World-Honored One and suppress the Buddha Tathagata for ten million years!"
