Am I, Hongyun, Really Unlucky? Aren't I the Son of Heaven's Will?

Hong Yun unexpectedly gains the memories of a transmigrator from the future, who claims he is the most unlucky person in the prehistoric world. Hong Yun doesn't believe it at first.

As a being born from fortune, he finds magical treasures whenever he goes out, and merits descend from the heavens while he sleeps, boosting his cultivation. Heaven's will recognized him long ago. He is the chosen successor of Heaven's will!

That's why he has always worked hard to be a generous, kind-hearted person, believing that virtue attracts allies. Until one day, Hongjun suddenly announces that he has achieved sainthood... Only then does Hong Yun realize the transmigrator's memories were a warning from Heaven's will!

This outsider, a Chaos god-demon, has been plotting to kill him!

Hong Yun also comes to understand that what Hongjun teaches cannot possibly be the true Great Dao. He gives up all his merit and power, condenses them into a merit incarnation, and sends it beyond the heavens. Then he fakes his death and starts cultivating the Mythic Dao laws anew.

He enters the Eastern Sea and refines the treasures of the Three Isles of Penglai into the three flowers above his head.

He travels the four corners of the world and takes the innate Five-Elemental Banners as the five energies in his belly.

He opens the underworld and takes the Twelve Ancestral Shamans as his divine followers.

Finally, he ascends to the heavens to seize the Chaos Bell, subdues the Three Pure Ones, and reclaims the Taiji Diagram and Pangu Banner. With his own power, he cultivates the forty-nine laws of the Great Dao and becomes Heaven's will itself! He achieves the Primordial Unity!

At last, he stands before Hongjun, still refining Heaven's will.
