First Day on the Job, and You Bring in a Demon as Your Report?

Chen Chu transmigrates into a fantasy world where humans, demons, monsters, and ghosts stand opposed to one another.

After scraping by for seventeen years, he carefully plans his next move and successfully becomes a constable in a major frontier city.

On his first morning at work, while on his way to roll call, he kills a second-rank demonfolk and unexpectedly acquires a mysterious scroll.

That afternoon, he draws his blade and kills three demon hunters who shirk their duties and collect pay without working.

On his second day as a registered imperial official, he strides in with his blade and takes away the demon hunters’ livelihood right in front of them!

On his third day, he angrily beheads the head of the Demon Hunting Bureau in the street!

On his fourth day, Chen Chu awaits his sentence in the city lord’s dungeon.

From that point on... the magnificent tapestry of the Fangtu world unfurls completely before Chen Chu’s eyes!
