National Fate: I'm Really Just a Manga Artist

A mysterious national competition livestream descended upon the world. The national will of each country selected its own contestants to represent it. The more victories a country achieved, the more resources it received.

The first event in the national competition was singles tennis.

When the people of Longguo discovered that their representative, Bai Yi, was a famous manga artist, they were instantly overcome with despair.

"We're doomed! I admit Teacher Bai's manga is great, but this is a real tennis match!"

"Holy crap! The 108-Fold Wave!"

"Holy crap! The Interdimensional Pirate Ship!"

The second event in the national competition was Go. Bai Yi was selected to compete again, and the people were extremely worried:

"We're doomed! I admit Brother Yi is awesome at tennis and manga, but Go is a game that takes serious brainpower!"

"Holy crap! Can someone tell me if that giant dragon really is a dragon!"

"Holy crap! Heaven and Earth as One!"

After that, one competition after another, each with a different event, gradually became more and more fantastical with Bai Yi taking part.
