Great Ming: After Three Years of Perfect Evaluations, Zhu Yuanzhang Is Furious

In the sixth year of Hongwu, a self-assessment written by Meng Yin, a minor county magistrate in a border town, enrages Zhu Yuanzhang and rekindles his murderous instincts. He orders the man to be executed by a thousand cuts,

but after taking someone's advice, Zhu Yuanzhang decides to visit the border town himself and see what is going on.

When he reaches the small border town, he finds the people living in peace and comfort, with plenty to eat. The factories are all interconnected, the streets are bustling, and the whole place is thriving.

Zhu Yuanzhang: "Damn it! This is supposed to be some poor border town? It's rolling in wealth!"

But what happens next makes Zhu Yuanzhang regret everything!

"I should have killed him long ago!"

Empress Ma: "Chongba! You've misjudged him again. Meng Yin has rendered great service, and he's a brilliant talent, too!"

Zhu Di and Zhu Gang: "Father, you can't kill him! As long as he's in the border town, we can enjoy peace and quiet in our fiefs."

Prefect Meng Yin: "I secretly manufactured hundreds of thousands of sets of armor and tens of thousands of long-range rockets, and built the strongest army on the planet."

Provincial Administration Commissioner Meng Yin: "A promotion? I built a private navy and command hundreds of nuclear-powered ironclad warships. I'm ready to rebel at any time and flatten Yingtian Prefecture."

One promotion decree after another arrives like snowflakes.

"Zhu Chongba, I'm this outrageous, so why won't you kill me?"
