A Peach Blossom Promise Inspired by Food Makes Deng Ziqi Drool

After transmigrating to a parallel world, Su Can discovers that he's competing in a music show called I Write, You Sing!

The show's premise is to select amateur composers from among the public, have them compose songs, and then give the songs to partnered singers to perform.

The idea is to showcase the singers' vocal skills by having them turn even ordinary pieces into beautiful songs.

Su Can is the only composer on the show who was selected as a chef.

His first partner is Deng Ziqi, known as the "Little Queen of the Music Scene."

Deng Ziqi's fans are dumbfounded: "Wait, a chef? What kind of song can he write?"

But when Su Can writes a food-themed version of "Peach Blossom Promise" and gives it to Deng Ziqi to sing, the judges go wild!

"A bite of belly, a longing in mind, smooth and crisp with a jar of vinegar; please have some zongzi, open it up and spread on the honey."

"Look for a signature, grill the catch, forget the spice, forget the richness, forget that first drunken taste; toss it smooth, let it soak in the rich sauce of love..."

Audience: "This song... sounds pretty tasty."
