Great Ming: Giving the Jianzhou Jurchens a Little Shock from the Start

After transmigrating into the Chongzhen era, he finally got to be emperor, but before he could feel sad or happy...

"What? The Jianzhou Jurchens have invaded the Pass to loot again?"

Zhu Youjian was furious. "This time, I'll make sure you come in alive and don't make it back!"

He summoned Lu Xiangsheng and Sun Chuanting, two great generals of the late Ming.

The emperor laid out his plan: "The Jurchens love looting, don't they? Evacuate the commoners along their route, but leave their belongings behind and let them loot to their hearts' content. First, we'll lure them deep into our territory! Once they enter Jinan, we'll catch them like turtles in a jar!"

Lu and Sun looked completely baffled. "Your Majesty, how do you know for certain that the Jurchens will go to Jinan?"

The emperor smiled enigmatically. "Just carry out my strategy. There's no need to ask about anything else!"

Then the Jurchens stormed into Jinan, ready to make a fortune, only to discover that it was an empty city!

What they never could have imagined was that the main Ming army would descend like divine troops, trapping them inside the city.

Dorgon: "It's over. I'm the turtle in the jar!"

Zhu Youjian: "Surprised? Didn't see that coming?"
