You're a Director of Flops. Do You Even Know How to Use Dong Shu?

Ning Qiu wakes up to find himself taking part in a variety show, where he gains astonishing comprehension.

Contestants must use a given prompt to create an imaginary movie in their minds,

then use a brain-computer interface to bring it perfectly to life onstage.

While imagining, contestants can choose any actor in all of Huaxia and use their likeness in their minds, swapping them into the roles.

In other words, face-swapping.

The first episode's prompt is the song "Chiling."

While the other contestants are still listening to the song, chatting with the creators, writing scripts, and coming up with visuals,

Ning Qiu immediately grabs Dong Shu, Chen Daomin, Liu Yifei, Duan Yihong... and puts them together in a grand, tragic romance set in a pear garden, about protecting the homeland.

Songwriter: "I didn't even think of all that when I wrote the song. Ning Qiu's talent is peerless."

Singer: "I thought I understood this song, but after seeing his imagining, I realized I knew nothing at all."

Netizens: "Director Ning, please stop imagining things. Even the original songwriter is crying!"
